Nice apartment, new and clean. But the check-in experience was a struggle Positive: The apartment is brand new - fresh renovation, new furniture, new air conditioners (one per floor). Everything smells new, clean. Quiet neighborhood, no tourist crowds. 10 minutes walk to the Old Town, 7 minutes to the port beach Negative: No microwave. The apartment was very hard to find - the instructions provided were not helpful. The manager initially sent us details for a completely different property on the other side of the island, and was slow to respond. The good beach where you can actually swim is about 20 minutes away
