Villa Pefki

It is rare that you think the description and photos undersell a property - but they did here Positive: such a fantastic villa in an amazing location with truely breath taking views across the med Negative: Nothing - it was exactly as described - perhaps the beds could have been a little more comfortable.

Brilliant Positive: Lovely house, great location, quiet and private but not far away from Pefkos centre - which had many restaurants. The pool was the best feature. Even better was the little snorkelling cove a couple of minutes away by car. We will be back... Negative: The house needed a bit of tlc.

Positive: The house is in a beautiful setting with a wonderful view to the sea. The house has everything you need, and is very well equipped. Pool was great and the garden is spacious with many sitting areas. We enjoyed local wildlife, watching sunsets and the skies at night. It's a little remote and you need a car to drive to the town or beach, but it's all just a few minutes away. We loved our stay and would come again. Note, the place was not easy to find as the sat nav directions take one up a steep dirt road, however we arrived at night so it took us a while to find it, and there was noone to contact. Best, once in Pefkos, follow the signs to 'Tony's place' and this villa is just a few houses before it.

Fantastic stay in a lovely villa,. Positive: The villa is in a wonderful location, about a mile or so outside of the small town of Pefki, which has an abundance of bars and restaurants, but is not too "party town", which is just what we like. The villa itself was mostly clean and tidy, with good facilities - there were a couple of minor issues with the air con and the pool, but these were dealt with extremley promptly by the very friendly staff. We loved that it was so quiet and peaceful at the villa and very private. There is a beautiful little cove about 500m from the villa which was perfect for an early morning swim or an evening snorkell - often we were the only people there. Negative: The beds in the twin room were a little uncomfortable, as mentioned previosuly by other travellers, and the garden areas could use a really good sweep and tidy, but these are minor issues.

We had a lovely stay and would definitely come again Positive: The pool area was amazing along with the BBQ which we enjoyed very much, the privacy and the location Negative: Slightly difficult to find, but we got there in the end lol
